The DoBo Loft
A permanent home in Downtown Boca where young Jews can gather, celebrate Shabbat, learn, build friendships, work, host, create, and simply belong. Not a rented room for occasional events. A place that's always open.
Why It Matters
You're building the Shabbat table where someone finds their first real Jewish community in Boca.
The room where two people meet, and more than once, end up building a life together.
The place someone walks into uncertain and eventually starts calling home.
The conversation that makes Judaism feel relevant again.
The DoBo Loft is the next chapter of CYP DoBo, and everyone who helps build it will be part of that story for a long time.
Step inside.
Step Inside
1,000 sq ft inside
A third-floor lounge overlooking Downtown Boca, designed to flex: lounge seating for Shabbat dinners, open floor for events, breakout areas for learning, and a kitchen/bar setup for the hospitality that makes CYP DoBo feel like CYP DoBo.
360 sq ft outside
The balcony is for everything else: morning coffee, evening conversations, that one kumzitz that went until 1am.
What Life Here Looks Like
The Loft isn't reserved for occasional events. It's built to be lived in, all week long.

Every Year
$125,000
The room matters because of what happens inside it. The annual budget funds both the physical home and the Jewish life that fills it.
The buildout creates the room. The annual budget creates the life inside it — two separate needs, never combined into one total.
Build it once. Bring it to life every year.
Annual Program & Space Budget
The Loft is more than a space. It's the home base for Shabbat dinners, classes, holiday programs, conversations, friendships, and the everyday life of this community.
It takes approximately $125,000 each year to sustain the DoBo Loft and the programs that bring the community to life. This includes the annual cost of the space, First Friday Shabbat experiences, holiday programs, outreach, classes, and ongoing Jewish learning.
Program expenses include food, staffing, educators, entertainment, supplies, marketing, security, and other event-related costs.
A permanent home for Shabbat dinners, classes, happy hours, leadership gatherings, co-working, and the everyday life of the community.
Ticket sales and program fees cover only a portion of the cost. The rest is made possible by monthly partners, major gifts, and community support.
Annual Budget Progress

Committed toward the space
$25,776
Projected from monthly partners
“Committed” funds are already pledged toward the space. “Projected” is the annual total we expect from current Chai Club monthly partners, not funds already received.
A Closer Look: The Space Itself
The space is on its way: $39,000 of the Loft's $70,000 annual space cost is already committed. $31,000 remains.
Chai Club
Recurring support helps CYP DoBo plan confidently: sustaining the space, the gatherings, the Shabbat tables, the learning, and the outreach that happen inside it, month after month.

One-Time Buildout
$150,000
Six months. One permanent home.
A separate, one-time investment to transform the unfinished space into a warm, functional home for the community, including construction, furnishings, lighting, technology, and the indoor-outdoor gathering areas.
This is separate from the $125,000 Annual Program & Space Budget, which recurs every year. The two are never combined into a single total.

Ways to Help
However you'd like to give, there's a real, direct way to do it.
One-Time · $150,000
One-time capital gifts toward the $150,000 buildout: the interior, furnishings, and finishes that turn the space into a home.
Families interested in underwriting a significant part of the buildout can speak directly with Rabbi Yosef about leadership and naming opportunities.
Annual · $125,000
Monthly or annual support toward the operating budget: the space, Shabbat, holidays, and learning that fill it.
Chai Club partners give monthly, from $54 to $500. Ultimate partners ($500/month) sustain a meaningful share of a month's programming.
Become a Monthly Partner →Any Amount
Flexible support that CYP DoBo can direct to whatever has the greatest impact: the buildout, the annual budget, or wherever the need is greatest.
Make a Gift →Prefer to Talk First?
Fill out a quick form and Rabbi Yosef will be in touch, whether that's a monthly commitment, a one-time gift, a major gift conversation, or just a conversation.
The DoBo Loft
Friendships. Shabbat tables. Late-night conversations that turn into something more. Young Jews deciding, maybe for the first time, that this is their home too. Help us build the room where it happens.
