FAQ

Questions,
answered.

No such thing as a dumb question. We've heard them all.

Absolutely not. CYP DoBo welcomes everyone — from completely secular to fully observant. There's no level of religious practice required to be part of our community or to attend any event.

Our community is designed for young Jewish professionals — typically ages 20–35. That said, we never turn anyone away and always make exceptions for couples or friends outside that range.

Not at all. We warmly welcome non-Jewish partners, friends, and anyone curious about Jewish culture and community. Many of our most engaged members are interfaith couples.

Just show up to an event. That's it. No sign-up form, no membership process. Come to a Shabbat dinner or Social Learning, meet the community, and go from there. Check Events for what's coming up.

Most events are free or pay-what-you-can. First Friday Shabbat dinners are ticketed. Details are always listed on the event page. Nobody is ever turned away for financial reasons.

Chai Club is our monthly giving program that keeps CYP DoBo thriving. Members who give monthly (starting from $54/month) power the events, programming, and outreach that bring our community together. Learn more at the Chai Club page.
